Over the next couple of weeks, before they indulge in chocolate treats, Seedlings are thinking about healthy foods and the impact sugar has on our bodies. To start this learning off we took a trip into Diss to visit the supermarket. While there we found different foods from different food groups and chose some fruits to buy and bring back to school to taste test.We all got to scan items through the self service machine and were offered jobs as we did so well. Crossing the supermarket car park also gave us opportunities to practice our road safety. We also stopped at the garden centre for seeds where we used real money to pay and had our PE lesson on the park!
