Pupils from across the Consortium Trust met at Southwold Primary school yesterday, led by Sam Norfolk (Science Lead), to celebrate the final of the 'Gears. levers and pulleys' physics competition. It showcased some of the most talented and enthusiastic physics students from across the trust, and their shared passion for scientific discovery. The finalists were chosen from each school with Devon's entry being picked for Mendham. Mrs Thomas (Director of Primary Education) judged the final which was a difficult decision! Congratulations to the winner of the competition, Charlie from Winterton Primary school. Everyone who entered should be extremely proud of their efforts and contribution

KS1 are currently swimming at Harleston pool this half term so this may be of interest to parents particularly those in EYFS/KS1

This week all of Waveney Valley Partnership enjoyed a visit from James Campbell. Each class took part in a workshop with the author and there was non-stop laughter throughout the day. James shared with the children his experience of being a writer and some behind the scenes knowledge of how he created his fabulous books. None of this would have been possible without the support of our wonderful FOMSA and HPTA who contributed towards the cost of the visit. Thank you, you have inspired a future generation of authors.
