Wingfield Barns - Puppet Making Workshop Thursday 29th & Friday 20th - 10-3pm £40pp (If you are TFSM its £20) Something strange is stirring at Wingfield Barn. This Halloween, on the 29th and 30th of October, a two-day puppet-making adventure, running from 10am–3pm each day! Perfect for curious beginners, little monster-makers and big kids alike, you'll dream up, design, build and bring to life your very own Halloween character perhaps a wonky witch, a sleepy monster, a mischievous alien, Bigfoot, Mothman or some wonderfully weird creature that has crawled out of your imagination. With a professional puppet maker Freya Oakes on hand throughout the workshop, you'll learn the tricks of the craft and turn a handful of materials and a sprinkle of imagination into a character with a personality all of its own. So, bring your creativity, your curiosity and your best monster-making ideas to the puppet making Mad scientist laboratories, and let's make something delightfully spooky together. Today we had a visit from Adrian Ramsay MP who spoke to the children about his role in parliament. The children were especially interested in what was happening to help our environment and supporting people who had suffered from local flooding.

Hope you have all had a wonderful summer holidays, last couple of days to sew or stick your name tags on the uniform to help rehome those lost jumpers! Staff are on site from 1st but pupils return on 3rd, see you at 8.30 am.

This Autumn term we have lots of variety in extended schools clubs on offer, booking in advance via Arbor/clubs is essential as limited spaces available.
