Today we celebrated World Book Day!

Children came to school dressed as a Character from the Mr Men or Little Miss series of books. Alternatively they came dressed as their own interpretation of a Mr or Little Miss character. As children paraded around each other's classrooms we saw everything from Mr Sporty to Little Miss Rudolph.

Children then created their own characters, made puppets and props, created stories and retold them to the rest of the school. At playtime everybody had the opportunity to choose a book from the range of World Book Day books supplied by Diss Publishers Bookshop. After choosing their books children could be seen enjoying their new books around the outdoor area.
